Are You Organised For Business Success
I’ve been on a mission to get super-organised this week!
A lot of people assume that because I help clients to build structure, systems and consistency into their businesses that I must be naturally uber-organised and a genius at keeping everything perfectly streamlined and in order.
But I’ll let you into a secret … organisation and systems aren’t really my bag! I have to work really hard to keep myself on track and feeling like things are under control.
I’m a bit of a typical aquarian – a rebellious dreamer who hates to comply! And that’s great for the creative parts of my business, but not ideal when it comes to feeling like I’m actually on top of things and not forgetting all the promises I’ve made or deadlines I need to stick to. It’s why my VA’s epic nagging is so handy! 🤣
Starting your own business definitely takes a bit of bravery and creativity (and possibly a slight dose of blind stupidity!) But those traits are fairly opposite to being a natural organiser who loves detail and is passionate about a process.
And when you’re not a detail or process person, that can easily leave you feeling disorganised, out of control and as though your business is constantly hanging by a very thin thread that might just snap at any time! You may even find yourself with that nagging feeling that sooner or later you’re going to get rumbled and people will realise what a shambles everything is behind the scenes!
But have no fear, Coach Cohen and her top tips are here!
I want to talk to you this week about some really simple systems that can get you organised, even if your natural default position is as random and chaotic as possible!
I have a very straightforward suggestion that will help you keep your feet on the ground, stay focused, increase your progress and help you feel as though you’ve finally got your sh*t together! I can show you how to finally feel as though you’re running your business, instead of it running you!
So this week I’m sharing my advice about using daily and weekly checklists to keep you on track. They’re nothing huge or overwhelming. Nothing that’s going to take hours to keep up with; or need you to be tracking every single thing you do; or trying to stifle your natural working style.
They’re a way to compliment your own style but help you build in some boundaries and some consistency so that you’re always on track without feeling hemmed in.
They’re simple but massively effective.
So … watch this week’s tips video to hear my suggestions for how to implement this in your own business. Ideas for what you should include in your own checklists and how to make these work effortlessly for you.
You’ll love it I promise 😃
And of course if this hits a nerve but the thought of making these changes on your own feels daunting, just send me a message to book in a call and let’s have a chat about how I can help you turn your chaos into calm and consistency!
