Sounds simple, doesn’t it?
Well, the truth is that it comes back to that really annoying (because it’s so true) saying that ‘it’s simple but it’s not easy’.
You can prove how simple business it is by talking to somebody else about their business challenges. You’ll only need to listen for a couple of minutes before the solutions and decisions that need to be made will be blindingly obvious.
But that’s because it’s not your business. There isn’t the same emotion involved. You’ll do a fraction of the overthinking that you can get so hooked on for your own business.
When it’s your own business every decision takes twice as long and needs an extra 3 billion perspectives considering before you can get cracking.
Which is why I’m your secret weapon for 2026.
My clients thrive because they’re able to talk through their challenges or tricky decisions with me. They get an objective sounding board to bounce all their ideas off. And sooo often they find clarity just by hearing back the way they talk about their problems.
There’s something hugely enlightening about talking out loud. It’s a great way to find perspective and clarity.
And of course, my clients get challenged too. Because the reason most of us are rubbish at holding ourselves accountable (I’m DEFINITELY getting it done tomorrow 😉) is because we tolerate our own excuses and justifications. You can give yourself a million reasons to avoid doing something hard (following up on all those juicy prospects who’ve slipped off the hook?) but as soon as you have to say them out loud to somebody else you can hear the bull***t. There’s nowhere to hide.
