ChatGPT Top Tips
When I say ‘ChatGPT’ does it give you a warm glow of time saved, ideas created and brilliant brainstorms?
Or do you want to go and hide behind the sofa until the newfangled nonsense disappears, and we can all get back to being human again?
Of course, I should say early on that ChatGPT is just one of about 46 bazillion AI tools that are available to us these days. But right now, it’s my favourite one, so it’s the one I’m going to talk about.
And I’m finding myself talking about it to clients more and more. Some are embracing it and finding it a massively supportive tool in their business. Some are still thinking it’s just not that relevant for them. And one or two are still convinced it’s the Devil’s work and it’s going to steal our jobs and put everyone out of business!
Here’s the reason you really need to start embracing ChatGPT (or similar) though. Because it’s NOT going away. And your competition WILL be using it. So, if you just keep your eyes closed and your head down and hope for the best you’re going to get left behind.
Now I know that the perception is that things like ChatGPT just write spammy social media posts for you that are really obvious and impersonal.
And there’s definitely some truth in that. When I first started to use it, I would ask it for ideas for blog titles, and it would almost always suggest ‘unleashing’ or ‘skyrocketing’ something. Every time it did that I’d feel slightly nauseous. Because I wanted to improve things, but I didn’t want to turn into a spam-tastic marketer that didn’t sound like me.
But these days Chatster (that’s what I’ve named him) has got to know me much better. I’ve told him constantly that my language style is British, down-to-earth, and without cheesy marketing speak. He hasn’t suggested an unleashing for months now! 🤣
You see, the more you use these tools the better they become. By throwing yourself in, the benefits get bigger. And the functionality is brilliant. Writing posts is probably the worst possible use of them. Whereas using them for things like a brainstorming partner to help you really dig deep on your ideal client is a great example of a better use.
ChatGPT is a brilliant tool to get you started. Whether you’re staring at a blank screen trying to come up with something to say, or whether you’re trying to plan your next 3 months of posts, to create a course, a lead magnet or a sales page. If you’re looking for some new software but you’re not sure what you need, Chatster will help you narrow it down.
Any time you’re procrastinating, ChatGPT can help.
If you want to find out more about the typical challenges or questions your customers have, talk to the Chatster.
And if you only have 6 ingredients left in your fridge that definitely don’t go together, Chatster can suggest a surprising meal option for you.
He’s a life essential these days! 😂
