Does Business Coaching Actually Work?
I’m into week 2 of 4 of my 3-day working weeks while my parents are over from Australia, and I think I can just about remember what day it is! Where I’m supposed to be and who with is slightly more challenging but that’s why my diary is my best friend in the world!
I love having simple tools and processes in my business that help to keep me consistent. (Kylie’s nagging at the start of each week is also very consistent! 🤣)
When I’ve asked clients in the past about the experience of working with me, that word ‘consistency’ is one of the things that’s guaranteed to come up time and time again.
In fact, I think you could argue that my clients consistently tell me they appreciate how I help them to become more consistent! 😁
Things are very different now to the time I first started my coaching business back in the Roman days of 2008. Back then I’d have a lot of conversations with people who’d never heard of a Business Coach and couldn’t understand what I do.
People would often think that Business Coaching must only work for people who are struggling or desperate, or just not very good at business. Working with a coach was often perceived as being self-indulgent or a sign of failure.
Whereas now I don’t get that reaction very often. There’s a lot more recognition of the purpose of working with a Business Coach – to help you go from decent to brilliant; to push you to achieve more; to challenge you to set bigger goals; and to help both you and your business to get the best out of yourselves.
But even behind that surface knowledge I still get lots of questions from people who want to understand more of the nitty gritty details about how Business Coaching actually works.
So guess what – I made a video about it. Da daaaa!
I’ve explained about the key elements that make a business coaching relationship successful.
And I’ve gone into detail about the first 2 areas I work on with every single client – because they’re what unlocks sooo much potential really quickly!
So, if you’d like to know more about how coaching works and whether it could help you get better results in your business you can find that out in less than 6 minutes. How handy is that?
Please take the time to watch, and feel free to send me any extra questions you have. Or even better – book in for a chinwag with me so we can talk about your own juicy growth plans and explore whether coaching would be the right way to help you get there faster.
